以下援引自一位著名生育医生的话：“一位年轻的女性正在寻求保存她的生育能力，这是真正激动人心的时刻…在历史上，我认为这是不朽的，从前当一个女人不想生育的时候，她甚至没有选择的余地，现在的女性，当她想怀孕的时候就可以借此机会怀孕。”

也就是说冷冻卵子给了现代女性更多选择的权利。我们都知道女性的生育是有年龄限制的，因此，当一个女人在30岁之前冷冻卵子，无疑是给了她们保存生育力的机会。
